The most important asset an effective leader possesses is his or her verbal skill. More specifically, leadership depends on your ability to persuade others to follow and collaborate in pursuit of a worthwhile objective.  This session discusses the following elements of leadership communication:

Rich Drinon is a highly experienced leadership trainer specializing in the communication aspects of building relationships, achieving results, promoting change, and facilitating decision making.  He is a Journalism graduate of the  University  of  New Mexico  and has a master’s degree in Communication & Leadership studies from  Gonzaga   University .

 

Over the past 25 years Rich has conducted thousands of programs for organizations throughout the  U.S.  and Canada , and individual coaching sessions with hundreds of leadership and management professionals. He is author of Stepping Up to Leadership. His new book, Expanding Your Leadership Capacity, is scheduled for 2013 release.   In addition to owning several businesses, Rich has worked in leadership roles for the International Association for Jazz Education, Kansas Hospital Association and Financial Institutions Technologies.  


As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 7 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.
