Join KSAE and the Overland Park Convention & Visitors Bureau for OP Day in Topeka on Thursday, June 14, 2012. This annual event is from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and includes lunch and a great education program. It will be held at the Kansas Association of School Boards, 1420 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka.
This co-sponsored program is open to KSAE members employed at associations. Cost to attend is $10 for the first person and $5 for each additional person from the same association.
Barbara Dunn, Esq., will present, It's a Brave New World: Current Trends Facing Associations. Her presentation will include social media, contracts, liabilities and risk management. Barbara is a partner with Howe & Hutton, a law firm specializing in the representation of not-for-profit organizations including trade associations and professional societies. Barbara presented in 2008 and 2010 at OP Day in Topeka and those attending always want her back for more.
