The Power of Branding: Coco Chanel
Jane Hermstedt

Tuesday, July 21, 2015
Registration at 8:00am, Program from 8:30-9:30am
Kansas Soybean Association, 1000 SW Red Oaks Pl., Topeka

Overview: Participants learn the key elements of personal branding from the inimitable Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. Chanel was a pioneer in the field of branding, and intuitively understood the value of managing how her image was showcased to the world. Shaped by her hardscrabble early years as a seamstress and bar singer, Chanel redefined her image many times over before ultimately becoming the most recognizable brand in Parisian couture. She changed how the world viewed style, and built a brand that today is worth over $7 billion.

Participant Benefits: Coco Chanel’s story offers participants many lessons on how to craft a memorable personal brand built on an appreciation of their own uniqueness. Through this seminar, participants learn to:

  • Understand the key elements of a strong personal brand

  • Package their current strengths into a product

  • Articulate their unique selling points.

  • Structure a deliberately designed personal brand

  • Project confidence while networking their personal brand
