    Dear KSAE members:

It is with regret that I announce the resignation of Vicki Whitaker from her position as executive director of KSAE effective May 21, 2012. She has accepted a position with the Kansas Pharmacists Association.

I would like to express my appreciation to Vicki for her contributions to the society, not only as the executive director but also as a prior KSAE board member and president.

During Vicki’s five years as executive director, she made major improvements to the quality of member communications as well as increased the number of education events offered to the membership. The board and I wish her well in her future endeavors.

An announcement will be made soon regarding an interim leadership plan and the executive director search process.

    Sincerely,

    Doug Shepherd

    KSAE President
